I really do enjoy the combat, whether you are fighting a big lizard slug, futuristic humans or gargoyles. This is so much more immersive and fun compared to use the analog sticks. I actually move within my living room and swing my arms and dodge in real life. The combat is fun, especially when you play with roomscale. Thankfully a patch should be able to fix this, but it’s been a month since launch and this still isn’t fixed. I knew this all to well because some of the quests require you to be in a party. I tried on multiple occasions, with various players, different ways and I never could get it to work. I’d argue the party formation feature just straight up doesn’t work. Here is the first real problem of the game. Which is a great strategy until you have to form a party. Another option is to group up with a stronger player. So the best way to gain experience is to do quests, but you need more experience to be good enough. Even in the beginning stages of the game. The next thing is that it takes a LOT of enemies to level up. ![]() Upgrading weapons and gear is glossed over and without some training and upgrading you’ll soon find very little you are capable of doing. The first thing you will note is that many of the missions are too difficult for you. By the time the tutorial ended I still felt very confused on what I was supposed to do and how to proceed. It’s a basic plot, but you don’t play a MMO in most cases for the story, so I was fine with it. The concept is that the world has been overthrown and there’s one last city you must protect. The tutorial isn’t the greatest in my opinion, you jump from character to character who gives you a task.
